Instant Pot Baked Beans

     These baked beans are sure to be a hit at all of your summer BBQ parties! This recipe is enough to feed a large crowd, and is perfect for preparing meals ahead of time and freezing in individual containers!


  • 2 lbs dry great northern white beans
  • 7 cups of water
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 can tomato sauce - 15oz
  • 1/2 cup prepared mustard
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • S&P to taste
  • Dash of paprika
  • Liquid smoke- 4-5 drops


  1. Cook dry beans with water in pressure cooker for 40 minutes on HIGH pressure.
  2. While beans cook, mix together remaining ingredients, except liquid smoke.
  3. After timer is done on instant pot, let steam release naturally for 10 minutes then slowly release.
  4. Use the sauté feature on your instant pot and stir in the wet mixture with your beans for about 5 minutes. Then add liquid smoke and stir.
  5. Serve hot.
